When you're looking for the reliability and features of a ball valve and the flow characteristics and pressure drop of a globe valve, look to Worcester Controls. We put the best of both worlds in one exceptionally rugged, high-performance valve that will do things you never thought possible in a ball valve.

Tough. Forged from TFE- or Graphite impregnated sintered stainless steel.
Worcester Controls' characterized valve seats are built to withstand extreme temperatures, abrasives and aggressive fluids.
The controlling element is a super round, hard nickel coated ball with a round resilient or sintered stainless steel seat on the opposite side. The lubrication action of the special coating on the ball and TFE or Graphite impregnation throughout the thickness of the characterized seat results in an amazingly smooth, stable throttling control.

Easily Automated. Pair this valve with either the Series 39 pneumatic actuator or Series 75 electric actuators for dependable operation.
Reliable and Simple. Virtually leak-proof, this valve will eliminate fugitive emissions and help you comply with the Clean Air Act. Highly wear-resistant composite materials and advanced design mean dramatically reduced downtime, with maintenance as easy as a seat change in an ordinary ball valve.
Repeatability. Close to perfict repeatability, the Worcester ball and steam are matched for zero hysteresis (no play). The matche ball and steam with controll couplings (set screwed) eliminates any possible play. Series 39 and 75 actuators are very responsive, high resolution actuators designed for accurate and repeatable proportional control.
Quick Flow Change. Flow caharacterstic can be changed with a simple exchange of the seat.
Non-Clogging. The shearing action of the ball & seat eliminate clogging of fibrous sluries.
Economical. The compact, low weight design allows for lower installation cost and a reliable quarter turn stem seal design reduces maintenance costs. Simple trim changes mean less down time and more productivity.
Versatile. These valves feature high rangeability and are ideal for steam, high pressure drop, fibers, low-flow, abrasives and cryogenic to high-temperature applications.
Warranted These control valves are warranted for two full years, for the best comfort level in the industry.
